Reporting to the Senior Manager – Sales Help – International Network, the person in this position is responsible for providing agency support within the Sales Help and Support teams. The incumbent manages requests and queries from travel agencies and offers a high level of service and support. This person will work in close collaboration with various Sales stakeholders, notably the Sales Activities, Commercial Support, and Planning teams, as well as local communications and project teams, to facilitate the effective implementation of our commercial objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Support Key Account agents and B2B clients in Brazil and the Latin America region.
- Manage incoming emails and pending support requests from leisure travel agencies, travel management companies, online travel agencies, client accounts, etc.
- Manage group bookings and ticket issuance.
- Efficiently perform tasks related to individual PNRs and ticket issuance.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Air Canada’s ticket regulations and policies.
- Develop and distribute B2B communications.
- Ensure internal and external communication of promotional fares and products.
- Conduct benchmarking exercises with other carriers.
- Prepare sales reports from data coming from various sources.
- Monitor figures and perform statistical sales analyses.
- Prepare and update product presentations for the Sales team.
- Consolidate figures and data to support review meetings and strategic sales decisions.
- Assist the Sales team during external activities such as roadshows, trade shows, and product presentations.
- Coordinate sales activities.
- Manage relations with various Air Canada suppliers and follow up with them.
- Perform tasks related to the Billing and Settlement Plan, notably ensuring authority management and invoice verification.
Qualifications
- Degree in tourism, marketing, or administration.
- Experience in commercial support, reservations, and ticketing, preferably within the airline or tourism sector.
- Experience with the Amadeus Altéa Suite.
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent work ethic and positive team spirit.
- Proven customer orientation, results-oriented attitude, and excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Concise writing style.
- Adaptability and flexibility in the face of changing priorities.
- Ability to work full-time.
- Willingness to travel and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Right to live and work in Brazil.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is a requirement. Fluency in Spanish is a significant asset.
Employment Conditions:
Candidates must be eligible to work in the country concerned at the time an offer of employment is presented and are responsible for obtaining the necessary work permits, visas, or other authorizations. Proof of eligibility must be provided before the start date.
Language Requirements
Fluency in English and Portuguese, both oral and written. Knowledge of Spanish and other languages is an asset.
