Job Description
The Technical Agent is responsible for monitoring and supporting the documentation change control process for all maintenance data and associated technical data from the point of release until the updated maintenance and associated technical data are accessible to maintenance personnel. The role includes issuing workshop documents, supporting analysis tools and reports, and performing administrative tasks within the engineering or planning team.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue workshop documents in accordance with engineering instructions to the workshop.
- Perform Seal and Reset and ERP2 for subsequent factory visits.
The Technical Agent will also support the following tasks:
- Monitor and take charge of the documentation change control process for all maintenance and technical data from the point of release so that data are accessible to maintenance personnel.
- Publish technical data in accordance with internal change control management (TDRS).
- Support the updating and maintenance of change control and maintenance tools and associated technical data.
- Provide engine documentation in accordance with company procedures; send and retrieve all technical information from the long-term document storage warehouse.
- Support the development and management of key SAP report data and performance dashboards for engineering, as well as the delivery and ongoing development of analysis tools for projects. If required, initiate labour/service requests and contracts/maintenance.
Minimum Required Skills
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken, read and written).
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Organized.
Desired Skills
- Understanding of gas turbine engines.
- Understanding of repair and overhaul activities, including airworthiness regulations.
- Good practical knowledge of SAP functions related to production, inspection and task planning activities.
- Practical knowledge of test/engine systems.
- Technical writing.
Qualifications
- College diploma (DEC).
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
