We support our client, a well-known company in the manufacturing sector, in their search for a Machinist Helper - Labourer.

Responsibilities:

Assemble fixtures according to operation sheets.
Check the condition of the part during assembly.
Complete the daily maintenance log, add oil, and clean filters according to the level 1 maintenance sheet.
Fill machines with cutting oil.
Update the production list (work progress) located on the machine.
Load, unload and transport parts and fixtures to designated locations.
Fill and empty chip containers.
Maintain the cleanliness of the workstation and machine, and keep tools in good condition.
Communicate instructions and job progress to the next shift (log-book entry).
Report any anomalies or issues that could hinder production to your supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with the company's vision, doctrine and code of ethics.
Follow and comply with safety rules at all times.
Follow and comply with company policies and the quality system.
Any other related tasks.

Ability to assemble simple and complex parts.
Understanding of work procedures.
Ability to complete tasks productively and competitively with minimal supervision.
Forklift and overhead crane certification required.
Attention to detail and autonomy.
Organized.
Ability to work in a team.
Ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
Good physical condition.
Sense of organization and priorities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
