Job Offer: Machinist Assistant

Job Description:
We are supporting our client, a recognized player in the manufacturing sector, in their search for a Machinist Assistant - Laborer.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the assembly of fixtures according to operation sheets.
- Check the good condition of the part during its assembly.
- Make sure to complete the daily maintenance sheet and fill with oil, then clean the filters according to level 1 maintenance sheet.
- Fill the machines with cutting oil.
- Update the production list (progress of work) located on the machine.
- Load, unload, and transport parts and fixtures to designated areas.
- Fill and empty chip containers.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the workstation, machine, and maintenance of tools.
- Transmit instructions and the progress status of ongoing work to the next shift (message in the log-book).
- Inform their supervisor of any anomaly or problem likely to hinder the smooth running of production.
- Conduct tasks in accordance with the company's vision, doctrine, and code of ethics.
- Apply and comply with safety rules at all times.
- Apply and comply with the rules of our policy and quality system.
- All other related tasks.
Profile Sought:
- Knowledge of making simple and complex part assemblies.
- Understanding of work procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks in a productive and competitive time with minimal supervision.
- Forklift and overhead crane competency card required.
- Meticulousness and autonomy.
- Demonstrate organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Aptitude to work under pressure while respecting tight deadlines.
- Good physical shape.
- Sense of organization and priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mastery of French and English both orally and in writing.
