Job description:

The goods receipt operator manages one or more of the following activities:

  • Verify that the product received conforms to the one ordered.
  • Verify consistency between the product, delivery documentation, the initial order placed with the supplier, and associated data.
  • Visually verify part and serial numbers, quantities, and/or lot numbers.
  • Verify the general condition of the product.
  • Verify the presence, accuracy, and completeness of what was ordered based on delivery documentation.
  • Record the receipt, log necessary information, and manage part requirements.
  • Prepare the product receipt file for archiving (includes delivery documentation for said products).
