DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Manager, Aircraft Maintenance, YYZ

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently perform all requested commercial aircraft maintenance activities in the hangar and on the ramp;
• Ensure that all aircraft documents are properly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
• Perform the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Comply with the SMS ("Safety Management System") policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times;
• Assist in all other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Valid Transport Canada Category M2 License;
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience;
• Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
• Good sense of organization and ability to work under pressure;
• Attention to detail;
• Positive attitude;
• Good team spirit;
• Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• Aircraft Maintenance Technician Diploma or equivalent.
