The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst (CAT1) to join our Quality Customer Line team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the Pre-flight and Delivery team at Airbus.
You will be part of the Quality Customer Line team responsible for preparing aircraft for flight, certification and delivery to customers. The team organization promotes cross-collaboration, mutual support and collective learning.
Your role as Quality Assurance Analyst (CAT1) will be to declare aircraft ready for the production flight-testing phase and ensure the aircraft conforms to its approved design data for safe operation.

Your challenges
Declare the aircraft ready for the production flight test phase;
Certify the aircraft's compliance with its approved design data and its fitness for safe operation, and issue the AI-100 Declaration of Compliance post-manufacture;
Verify compliance, as a Category 1 Signatory, when additional work is performed on a newly manufactured aircraft after its Declaration of Compliance has been issued;
Make all required entries in the aircraft logbook;
Submit applications for the Certificate of Airworthiness, Export Certificate of Airworthiness, and Flight Permit;
Establish an Airworthiness Directives status report and certify compliance in the logbook;
Analyze and resolve findings (including physical discrepancies) raised by Transport Canada;
Deploy innovative solutions to optimize working methods, enhance quality, increase customer satisfaction, and reduce costs;
Manage quality projects to meet specific requirements and customer expectations;
Act as a change agent to actively promote a culture of quality throughout the company;
Anticipate and identify potential risks through rigorous investigations;
Manage priorities effectively based on established strategic objectives.
Your boarding pass
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a DEC (College Diploma) in Engineering or Aeronautics, with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience;
You possess a valid AME M2 license or a US A&P license for large aircraft;
You have a strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations;
You demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems effectively;
You display leadership, autonomy, professionalism, and a strong ability to work in a team environment;
You demonstrate a logical and flexible mindset, a strong sense of initiative, and keen attention to detail.
