We continue to invest in new engine technology and platform capabilities for product lifecycle management (PLM). P&WC implemented a PLM solution in 2016 and upgraded it in 2023; it serves more than 8,000 users (employees, contractors, affiliates). The PLM team is updating the software again to support our enterprise transformation and Model Based Enterprise (MBE) vision.
What will your day-to-day look like?
Within the PLM Transformation and Governance team, the process business analyst will support platform evolution by providing PLM processes agreed with business organizations. Responsibilities include:
- Understand current platform functionality and the future potential of the complete 3DExperience suite from Dassault Systèmes;
- Become the subject matter expert for PLM processes: engineering and EPLM processes for parts and assemblies definition, 3D modeling, necessary instructions for definition and assembly, change management and supporting procedures;
- Support experienced user forums and business process owners to gather requirements for new solutions or improvements;
- Be a transformation agent to influence process improvements aligned with the PLM/MBE vision;
- Document and execute test plans, identify testing issues and participate in troubleshooting;
- Write and present training materials with the PLM training lead;
- Prepare communications for intranet, Teams or email with the PLM communications lead;
- Support PLM users with User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
- Apply project management competencies, make decisions with known risks, and communicate at various levels;
- Integrate new or improved PLM processes with other enterprise processes such as document management, project management, technical instructions, and product design/configuration/manufacturing management;
- Work with Digital Technology (DT) solutions teams and developers to test and implement solutions in production.
What do you need to be successful?
- Bachelor's degree with 4 to 10 years' relevant experience or equivalent market experience;
- Fields of study: Aeronautics, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, Logistics, Operations and Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and Logistics Management, Computer Science;
- Strong project management skills;
- Resourceful, initiative-taking, team player;
- Business sense and good technical/product knowledge (engines);
- Strong people and communication skills;
- Experience with customer support, troubleshooting and follow-up communication;
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite (or equivalent software);
- Experience with ENOVIA, 3DExperience, CATIA, VPM, JIRA, SharePoint is an asset;
- Available for occasional business trips between plants;
- Position is in a French-speaking work environment and requires strong English proficiency for daily technical documentation and international communication.
