Business Data Analyst / Analyste de données d’affaires

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst with experience in data governance and/or the deployment of data products, to join our Business Process and Performance Management team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

This role is essential to bridge the gap between business functions and IT teams to ensure the design, delivery, and operationalization of reliable data products and our transformation program. Alongside the company's Data Governance Manager, you will play a major role in organizing the future use of data, applying governance principles at every step and cross-functionally.

Your challenges:

• Support the Data Governance Manager in the implementation and enforcement of data governance and quality standards, including monitoring performance indicators and using data quality tools.

• Act as a liaison between various data stakeholders (stewards, custodians, etc.) to ensure compliance with data governance frameworks and standards.

• Support the deployment of data products in our data lake, managing their lifecycle from definition to deployment and documentation.

• Develop clear documentation, lineage, and traceability for each data asset.

• Collaborate with technical teams to define product specifications, ingestion logic, metadata, and access policies.

• Gather requirements from various business units, lead data literacy initiatives, and present results to stakeholders.

• Support deployed data products through monitoring, maintenance, incident management, and process improvement.

• Analyze large datasets using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Qlik-Sense to provide actionable business insights.
