Job description

You have proven experience in data analysis and performance management? Have you worked on process improvement and digitalization, and are you looking to grow and develop new skills? This role is for you!

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is seeking a CVAT (Customer Value Added Time) Expert Analyst to join our Performance Management team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will collaborate closely with performance analysts as well as the Operations, Finance, and Operational Excellence teams.

You will be part of the Performance Management team responsible for developing standardization and improving performance data quality for the A220 value chain. The team is structured to promote cross-functional collaboration and autonomy, fostering mutual support and collective learning.

In this role, you will optimize the efficiency of the A220 assembly processes by focusing specifically on Customer Value Added Time (CVAT). You will analyze data and performance indicators (quality, cost, lead time) to maximize value-added time. You will identify performance gaps, provide recommendations based on advanced analytics, and collaborate with operational teams to improve profitability by eliminating non-value-added activities.

Your working environment

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is headquartered in Mirabel, in the greater Montreal area, where the vibrant city of Montreal is just a stone's throw away. Known for its peaceful and safe environment, the region offers a high quality of life for younger or experienced professionals and families, perfectly balancing career opportunities and outdoor activities.

Your Challenges

  • Collect performance data from various sources to distinguish between value-added and non-value-added tasks, while ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Design, develop, and maintain databases and dashboards (Power BI, Skywise) to track CVAT trends and identify bottlenecks.
  • Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specifically related to the ratio of value-added time to total cycle time.
  • Analyze performance using statistical tools (Skywise, Power BI, Python) to identify the root causes of CVAT and efficiency gaps.
  • Prepare and present clear reports to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations to increase the share of value-added work within production cycles.
  • Collaborate with various departments (Operations, Quality, Finance) to optimize performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in the development of forecasting models and scenario analysis to anticipate the impact of process changes on CVAT.

Your boarding pass
