Customer Value-Added Analyst

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is seeking a CVAT (Customer Value Added Time) Expert Analyst to join our Performance Management team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will collaborate closely with performance analysts as well as the Operations, Finance, and Operational Excellence teams.
You will be part of the Performance Management team responsible for developing standardization and improving performance data quality for the A220 value chain. The team is structured to promote cross-functional collaboration and autonomy, fostering mutual support and collective learning.
In this role, you will optimize the efficiency of the A220 assembly processes by focusing specifically on Customer Value Added Time (CVAT). You will analyze data and performance indicators (quality, cost, lead time) to maximize value-added time. You will identify performance gaps, provide recommendations based on advanced analytics, and collaborate with operational teams to improve profitability by eliminating non-value-added activities.

Your Challenges:
Collect performance data from various sources to distinguish between value-added and non-value-added tasks, while ensuring data quality and accuracy;
Design, develop, and maintain databases and dashboards (Power BI, Skywise) to track CVAT trends and identify bottlenecks;
Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specifically related to the ratio of value-added time to total cycle time;
Analyze performance using statistical tools (Skywise, Power BI, Python) to identify the root causes of CVAT and efficiency gaps;
Prepare and present clear reports to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations to increase the share of value-added work within production cycles;
Collaborate with various departments (Operations, Quality, Finance) to optimize performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives;
Participate in the development of forecasting models and scenario analysis to anticipate the impact of process changes on CVAT.
Your boarding pass:
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial system.
You possess relevant experience in data analysis, performance management, or process improvement (VSM).
You are proficient in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Skywise, and Python.
You have in-depth knowledge of data warehousing, cloud analytics, and process automation.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
You have the ability to simplify complex data concepts for operational and executive leadership teams.
You have proven experience in defining performance measurement frameworks and creating complex analytical structures.
Business travel may be required for this position.
Travel requirements: < 5% (Occasional trips to the United States).
