Project Analyst - Manufacturing Signal Management

We are looking for a Project Analyst to support manufacturing signal management in an aeronautical environment. This person will play a key role in data tracking, impact analysis, process optimization, and coordination with various teams to ensure information reliability and compliance with deadlines.

Main responsibilities

Signal Management and Integrity

  • Ensure the integration and updating of manufacturing signals in systems rigorously and in a timely manner.
  • Continuously validate the accuracy of integrated signals and correct discrepancies at the source.
  • Ensure data consistency across systems (ERP, planning, purchasing & engineering).
  • Identify anomalies, understand root causes, and trigger corrective actions.

Control

  • Hold responsibility for entering, maintaining, and protecting key dates.
  • Control and arbitrate any date changes to avoid unvalidated or unjustified modifications.
  • Guarantee date alignment between signals, the master plan, and execution schedules.
  • Ensure traceability of date changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders.

Impact Analysis

  • Evaluate the impact of date signal changes on the production plan, capacity, and schedules.
  • Translate signal changes into concrete implications for planning and execution teams.
  • Work with planners to provide data-driven recommendations for prioritization and arbitration.

Specific Signal Management

  • Execute BOM ("Bill of Materials") orders: enter and validate order signals and ensure follow-up.
  • Project Realignment: adjust signals and dates during reprioritization or changes within projects.
  • ECN Management: integrate Engineering Change Notices into signals and assess impacts on deliverables and the master plan.
  • Temporary Offload: manage signals related to load transfer and measure effects / required capacity adjustments.
  • Other signals requiring intervention and potentially impacting the production plan.

Continuous Improvement and Standardization

  • Standardize, document & maintain signal entry and processing processes and eliminate sources of error.
  • Contribute to automation and data flow reliability.
  • Propose and drive automation initiatives (automated queries, smart alerts, dashboards) to reduce manual tasks and gain reliability.
  • Act as the digital innovation driver for the team by identifying opportunities for process simplification and optimization.
  • Be part of CAE's transformation and apply new concepts impacting signals such as the integration of an MBOM ("Manufacturing Bill of Materials") & others.

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in engineering or administration.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
  • Strong team spirit and good interpersonal skills.
  • Autonomy and compliance with deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational sense and multi-task management.
  • In-depth mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with an ERP, preferably Oracle.
  • Problem-solving aptitude: gathering information, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Familiarity with PLM or a BOM ("Bill of Material") structure / engineering concepts.
  • Understanding of assembly sequences and critical paths.

Asset: reports via SQL, VBA, Power Query (M), Power BI.

  • French-English bilingualism required.
