The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Configuration Analyst and Needs Anticipation/Projection (Major Overhauls) to join our In-Service Operations team based in Mirabel. You will contribute critically to the return to service of aircraft in accordance with the customer's schedule.
As a member of the anticipation team, you will be a highly skilled and analytical Spare Parts Strategy Analyst, aiming to link new product design with in-service support. This essential role is responsible for proactively assessing spare parts needs for new or modified designs, ensuring optimal fleet availability, managing inventory risks, developing in-service configurations, and minimizing the Cost of Spare Parts for our operating fleet.
Your role as a Spare Parts Strategy Analyst will be to:
Anticipate potential spare parts needs related to C-check maintenance visits.
Plan and project (forecast) these supply needs over a multi-year horizon.
Perform in-depth analyses of required parts based on effectivities and interchangeabilities, while identifying associated risks.
Centralize and structure relevant information in a database to submit requests to our subsidiary Satair for integration into inventory.
As an ideal candidate, you will need to:
Have direct work experience on fleet interchangeability or obsolescence management projects.
Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large datasets and translate complex technical findings into clear strategies.
Be process-oriented and have experience in integrating new working methods.
Be structured in activity tracking and effectively manage your priorities and unforeseen events.
Promote teamwork, act with leadership, and demonstrate a strong customer orientation.
Requirements
Your profile:
You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a maintenance environment and extensive knowledge of the challenges encountered during these visits.
You are an Excel and Google Sheets expert.
You are comfortable using various maintenance manuals such as AMP, IPDP, and ASRP.
Skills in SAP and Catia Enovia will be required.
You are comfortable in complex ecosystems.
Airbus and/or A220 and/or Customer Service experience is a definite asset.
You are structured in tracking your activities and have experience in integrating new working methods.
You have the ability to work in a dynamic transversal project environment.
You demonstrate a strong ability to manage your priorities and overcome setbacks.
You foster teamwork and act with leadership.
You are customer-focused and behave with integrity at all times without compromise.
You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (French and English) and treat people with respect.
You demonstrate innovation, commitment, and perseverance.
You care about people's development and value everyone's contribution.
This work requires awareness of all potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity; these values are the foundation of the company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.
