The position is based at our Longueuil establishment, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Areas of expertise

The candidate should possess knowledge of gas turbine engines, strong communication skills, and a fundamental understanding of finite element modeling (FEM) and vibration engineering principles.

Responsibilities

  • Actively support and contribute discipline-specific expertise to Design Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Actively support and contribute discipline-specific expertise to Field Investigation IPTs.
  • Perform finite element analyses (FEA) of assigned components.
  • Analyze Turbine and Transmission components, including turbine airfoils, shrouds, seals, casings, baffles, gears, housings, and related hardware.
  • Prepare vibration validation test requests for assigned components.
  • Evaluate vibration validation test results and provide technical conclusions and recommendations.
  • Prepare engineering and certification documentation for assigned components.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience.
