Job Description

Do you have experience in continuous improvement and performance management and wish to grow and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for an Improvement Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will be responsible for the overall improvement of the team's activities, performance monitoring, and action deployment.

You will be part of the Quality Assurance team and will be responsible, as mandated by the A220 aircraft configuration quality assurance manager, for proposing and implementing best practices to achieve annual departmental objectives as well as leading key transformation initiatives.

Your role as an Improvement Analyst will be to assist the Quality Assurance management team in defining, measuring, and improving:

- Project/program management planning and execution;

- Planning, execution, and control of transformational quality assurance projects;

- Change management and communication plan and their execution.

Your challenges:

  • Perform data analysis;
  • Maintain and improve quality assurance dashboards and key performance indicators;
  • Use data and metrics to obtain factual feedback and justify adjustments as needed;
  • Develop and govern best practices in QA;
  • Define and implement operational processes to ensure the success of large-scale change management;
  • Support, plan, and lead transformation projects within QA;
  • Collaborate with company decision-makers to define indicators and success factors;
  • Advise team members on strategies and approaches to transition from the current situation to the desired future situation;
  • Develop change management strategies to overcome obstacles, minimize resistance, and ensure that relevant stakeholders are ready and empowered;
  • Drive training and communication execution;
  • Adapt communication style and content to necessary audiences, ranging from executive management to cross-functional working groups.

You will also be asked to:

  • Organize focus group sessions with employees, employee surveys, and interviews to obtain feedback on change management planning;
  • Standardize a QA performance and project management platform;
  • Lead and participate in problem-solving assigned to QA;
  • Understand and analyze the needs of internal and external customers to develop appropriate strategies in collaboration with the QA management team;
  • Manage departmental improvement initiatives and influence stakeholders;
  • Work with multifunctional teams across the organization and in different time zones.
