JOB OVERVIEW

The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting business performance by transforming financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This position partners closely with operations, accounting, commercial teams, and leadership to analyze profitability, develop financial models, support forecasting and budgeting activities, and provide recommendations that improve operational efficiency and financial performance.

The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytics and AI-powered tools to evaluate engine program performance, identify trends, optimize costs, and support key business initiatives. This role offers significant visibility with leadership and provides the opportunity to make a measurable impact within a fast-growing, innovation-driven organization.

  • Drive engine cost and performance insights by building analytical models that translate operational data into clear, actionable financial intelligence.
  • Lead profitability analysis across engines, customers, and programs—delivering insights that directly shape commercial strategy and executive decision‑making.
  • Build advanced financial models to support pricing decisions, forecasting, investment analysis, and operational optimization.
  • Use AI‑powered analytics—including tools developed through FTAI’s partnership with Palantir—to combine large, complex datasets, uncover trends, and generate predictive insights that improve engine availability and financial performance.
  • Present financial results and analysis to leadership, playing a visible role in monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner with department leaders during the annual budgeting process to align forecasts, cost structures, and business objectives.
  • Analyze cost structures, overhead, and G&A spending to support cost transparency, profitability, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Support key components of the monthly close, including financial analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and financial integrity.
  • Support the annual audit, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure a smooth, efficient process.
  • Contribute to a wide range of accounting and finance initiatives, including process improvements, automation, and scalability projects.
