As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to management, working closely with the head of global financial planning & analysis and his leadership team. The Financial analyst will be responsible to maintain financial models in order to support analytical needs of a worldwide organization.
This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.
What will your day-to-day look like?
Support sales team, review sales and validate revenue recognition accuracy
Contribute to the overall process for the development of the 5 years strategic plan, annual budget and periodic forecast updates
Manage a business unit and participate in month end closing, analysis and assessment of the P&L Statements
Work closely with the business unit to help them improving the profitability
Actively work on continuous improvement of financial, operational and information presentation processes of the business unit
Maintain a strong control environment
What do you need to be successful?
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a business unit accountant or an accounting firm;
CPA title mandatory or underway;
Proficient communication skills in French and English (oral and in writing mandatory);
Strong knowledge of Excel is mandatory. Experience on SAP, Onestream and Power BI are strong assets;
Ability to sustain a high level of pressure in a fast paced environment;
Adaptable, autonomous with a positive attitude.
Field of studies: Finance, accounting, business administration
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
