Job Description

In collaboration with the Director, Inventory Management & Package Optimization, the incumbent contributes to maximizing the revenue and profitability of an airline route portfolio and package products. Thanks to their analytical expertise, market understanding and the use of specialized revenue management tools, they develop and adjust strategies aimed at achieving performance objectives such as revenue per available seat kilometer (RASM), load factor and yield.

  • Manage the assigned route portfolio in order to maximize revenue using the right levers and market knowledge.
  • Ensure that weekly workflows are respected in accordance with management methods.
  • Analyze booking patterns to identify revenue opportunities and risks in a constantly evolving market.
  • Acquire and maintain deep knowledge and understanding of the assigned market, particularly customer booking behavior and willingness to pay.
  • Calibrate revenue management system inputs based on recent market changes and ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Validate revenue management system outputs to ensure they remain consistent with market expectations and strategies.
  • Ensure appropriate monitoring and close follow-up of key performance indicators and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Proactively and effectively communicate findings as well as adopted tactical and strategic actions.
  • Work in close collaboration with the pricing analyst to ensure consistency of implemented actions.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field such as administration, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or any other related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in an analytical role related to revenue management, optimization, planning, business analysis or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data to support decision-making.
  • Organizational skills, rigor, attention to detail and results orientation.
  • Excellent time management skills, priorities and emergencies in a dynamic context requiring responsiveness and rigor.
  • Knowledge of an airline revenue management system such as PROS (asset).
  • Excellent mastery of Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel), Power BI and demonstrated ease with collaborative digital tools and artificial intelligence (e.g. Copilot). Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Oral and written mastery of French and English*.

*A good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate frequently in English, orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients or other stakeholders, both in Quebec and internationally.
