The analyst will be responsible for the deployment, management, and support of iOS and iPadOS devices within the organization. This role ensures secure, efficient, and compliant mobile operations through mastery of MDM tools and the Apple ecosystem. The analyst will collaborate with IT teams and users to optimize device performance and user experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist in supporting Air Canada's fleet of Apple devices (iOS, iPadOS)
- Configure and manage devices using MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf, Intune, Omnissa (Workspace One) or others), ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including encryption, password policies, and remote wipe capabilities.
- Coordinate the distribution and updating of enterprise and App Store applications across the fleet.
- Provide Level 2 support for device-related issues, escalating complex cases as needed.
- Monitor and plan operating system updates to ensure device security and compatibility.
- Evaluate new iOS/iPadOS features, applications, and configurations before organizational deployment.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and operations teams to align mobile strategies with overall organizational objectives.
- Create and maintain documentation of processes, configurations, and support guides; generate reports for management.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in information technology or IT operations in a large enterprise.
- Strong understanding of the Apple ecosystem.
- Experience managing Apple devices, especially iOS and iPadOS, in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems considered an asset.
- Experience with zero-touch deployment via Apple Business Manager and MDM integration considered an asset.
