The primary function of this role is to support several Everyday Aeroplan program partnerships, specifically by ensuring growth, management, and the realization of objectives for relationships with new and existing partners. As an Analyst - Loyalty Partnerships, you will assist the Senior Manager - Loyalty Partnerships in managing existing partnerships of the Everyday Aeroplan program. You will work in close collaboration with the Partnership Marketing team, the Loyalty and E-Commerce group, as well as the overall Air Canada organization by supporting the realization and execution of partnership projects. You will also play a key role in supporting the development and maintenance of unparalleled customer experience strategies in order to achieve the objectives of the Loyalty Partnerships team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities, partner relations, business planning, and governance activities for several strategic Aeroplan partners.
- Act as the primary contact person for partner requests, member inquiries, compliance issues, escalations, and operational support requests.
- Administer partner programs for the entire loyalty partnerships portfolio, notably regarding information sharing, documentation, problem resolution, as well as the maintenance of processes and infrastructure related to partnerships.
- Coordinate financial activities for the entire partner portfolio, including billing, reconciliations, credit notes, and collaboration with Aeroplan Finance.
- Coordinate activities of partners and internal stakeholders, including regular meetings, business reviews, agendas, presentations, and follow-up measures.
- Support the execution of partnership strategies, account initiatives, and proposals, in accordance with business objectives, key performance indicators, and established timelines.
- Collaborate with the Partnership Marketing team to develop and execute plans, budgets, campaigns, and marketing materials according to approved timelines and budgets.
- Monitor key performance indicators and campaign performance in collaboration with Analytics, using reports and projections to determine required actions and inform business decisions.
- Identify and coordinate or recommend the implementation of new or improved operational processes for the entire partnership portfolio.
- Keep abreast of developments and competitive offerings in the loyalty, airline, retail, and travel sectors.
Qualifications
- University or college degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a related field.
- At least three years of professional experience, preferably in the airline, retail, or loyalty sectors.
- Strategic and logical thinking, and communication skills.
- Process-oriented approach, attention to detail, ability to show flexibility.
- Excellent communication skills, notably for internal communications regarding opportunities and challenges for the clientele and for external communications.
- Strong work ethic, autonomy, flexibility, creativity, and ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the business.
- Team spirit, sense of priorities, and demonstrated ability for organization, time management, and executing multiple tasks at the same time, with a great attention to detail.
- Commitment to operational excellence.
- Willingness to work in an agile and constantly evolving environment where the volume of activities is high, within a high-performing, passionate, dynamic, and results-oriented team.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel software.
- Bilingualism (French and English), mandatory.
