Job summary:

Reporting to the Director of Planning, Procurement, Logistics and Scheduling, the MPS Planning Analyst prepares feasible production planning scenarios for assembly by forecasting internal parts, associated materials, and considering resource capacity (staff: operators and employees, machines, materials).

Your responsibilities:

In this role, the MPS Planning Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to, leading and facilitating the short-term weekly routine
  • Analyzing and ensuring compliance with the production plan
  • Developing the production schedule and, if required, a recovery plan, taking into account impacts on capacity needs (staff / machines / strategic tooling / gauges), delivery dates, final production margin and production partners
  • Developing, updating and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) measuring execution of the production plan and deliverables, and defining improvement plans and associated actions
  • Implementing the validated production schedule, defined in the weekly DPS (Detailed Production Schedule) routines, into the production system
  • Authorizing manufacturing by converting production orders according to DPS routine decisions
  • Updating the official planning and scheduling IT tool with the dedicated stakeholders

Profile / Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field
  • Proficiency in planning tools
  • Understanding of inventory management
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, SAP, Excel and Power BI
  • Strong work rigor, analytical mindset and ability to coordinate across functions
  • Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
