Our Airbus Atlantic site based in Mirabel is looking for its next team member.

Position summary

Reporting to the Director of Planning, Procurement, Logistics and Scheduling, the MPS Planning Analyst prepares feasible production planning scenarios for assembly by forecasting internal parts, associated materials, and considering resource capacities (staff: operators and employees, machines, materials).

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to, lead and facilitate the short-term weekly routine
  • Analyze and ensure adherence to the production plan
  • Develop the production schedule and, if necessary, a recovery plan, taking into account impacts on capacity needs (staff/machines/strategic tooling/fixtures), delivery dates, final production margin and production partners
  • Develop, update and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) measuring plan execution and deliverables, and define improvement plans and associated actions
  • Implement the validated production schedule, defined in the weekly DPS (Detail Production Schedule) routines, into the production system
  • Authorize manufacturing by converting production orders in accordance with DPS routine decisions
  • Update the official planning and scheduling IT tool with the designated stakeholders

Profile / Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of planning tools
  • Understanding of inventory management
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, SAP, Excel and Power BI
  • Work rigor, analytical mindset and ability to coordinate across functions
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
