Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Scheduling Director, the MPS Planning Analyst prepares feasible production planning scenarios for assembly by forecasting internal parts, associated materials, and taking resource capacities into account (workforce: operators and employees, machines, materials).
Your challenges:
In this role, the MPS Planning Analyst will be responsible for:
- Contribute, lead, and facilitate the short-term weekly routine
- Analyze and ensure compliance with the production plan
- Develop the production plan and, if necessary, a business recovery plan, taking into account the impacts on capacity requirements (workforce/machines/strategic tooling/jigs), delivery dates, final production margin, and production partners
- Develop, update, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) measuring production plan execution and deliverables, and define the improvement plan and associated actions
- Implement the validated production plan, defined in the DPS (Detail Production Schedule) weekly routines, within the production system
- Authorize manufacturing by converting production orders in accordance with DPS routine decisions
- Update the official planning and scheduling IT tool with dedicated stakeholders
Your profile:
- A minimum of 10 years or more of experience in a similar position
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, or any other related field
- Mastery of planning tools
- Understanding of inventory management
- Mastery of the Google suite, SAP, Excel, and Power BI
- Rigorous work ethic, analytical mind, and sense of multi-trade coordination
- Bilingualism in French and English, spoken and written
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
