Job Description

Reporting to the CRS Systems Director, the incumbent acts as the functional specialist for the Radixx central reservation system and its application ecosystem.

In collaboration with business teams, IT teams and suppliers, they analyze needs, resolve operational issues and contribute to the evolution of booking and distribution solutions.

Through their understanding of airline processes, they evaluate the impacts of changes, recommend sustainable solutions and support their implementation. They also participate in data analysis, the production of operational reports and the continuous improvement of processes.

Finally, the person contributes to the evolution of the team's practices by identifying opportunities to use artificial intelligence and automation to improve user support, data analysis, documentation and operational efficiency.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements.
  • Analyze the impacts of changes on processes, data and systems.
  • Identify, experiment with and evaluate use cases for artificial intelligence and automation to improve user support, data analysis, documentation and process efficiency, then support their integration into team practices.
  • Provide advanced functional support for issues related to reservations, transactions and exchanges with related systems.
  • Diagnose incidents, recommend sustainable solutions and coordinate their resolution with technical teams and suppliers.
  • Participate in the configuration and evolution of the CRS and related systems.
  • Prepare and execute functional and non-regression tests.
  • Use SQL to analyze data, support diagnostics and produce operational reports.
  • Facilitate communication and understanding between business and technical teams.
  • Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing and transfer within the team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the airline industry
  • Bachelor's degree or university degree in information technology, the travel industry or a related field
  • Experience with a CRS, PSS, GDS or DCS.
  • Good understanding of airline reservation, pricing, inventory management and distribution processes.
  • Experience in functional analysis or application support.
  • Good knowledge of SQL for data analysis and extraction purposes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English*

Assets

  • Knowledge of airline industry standards and formats, notably IATA, AIRIMP, TTY or EDIFACT.
  • Knowledge of Radixx Res or another reservation system, such as Sabre, Amadeus or Altéa.
  • Knowledge of GDS, NDC, interline processes or code sharing.
  • Knowledge of revenue management, airport operations tools or contact center activities.
  • Experience with API integrations.
  • Experience with generative artificial intelligence, digital assistants or automation applied to support, analysis or knowledge management.

Additional Information

*Good proficiency in French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate frequently in oral and written English with colleagues, clients or other stakeholders, both in Quebec and internationally.
