Job Description

In collaboration with the Director, Corporate Solutions, the incumbent acts as a SAP FICO functional expert with Transat's Finance teams. They analyze business needs, recommend high-performing solutions, and ensure the evolution, optimization, and support of SAP systems to effectively support the organization's financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and validate business needs, business rules, and requests for improvement or evolution of SAP solutions.
• Evaluate the impacts of proposed changes, identify risks, and recommend solutions aligned with user needs and best practices.
• Design, configure, validate, and implement SAP FICO solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Draft and maintain functional documentation, including functional specifications related to developments and change requests.
• Provide application support to users and contribute to the resolution of incidents and service requests.
• Participate in the development of testing strategies, prepare scenarios, and execute unit, integrated, and regression tests.
• Develop training material, support users, and act as a resource person and SAP coach within the team.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of financial processes and contribute to major SAP implementation or evolution projects.

Qualifications

• University degree in administration, accounting, computer science, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role in functional analysis or information systems with SAP.
• Significant experience with the SAP FICO module as well as participation in at least one major SAP implementation or evolution project.
• Solid knowledge of general accounting processes, management control, and financial operations.
• Excellent analytical skills, customer orientation, collaborative spirit, and ability to positively influence stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the airline industry, travel, or a multi-company environment is an asset.
• Excellent mastery of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and demonstrated ease with collaborative digital tools and AI (e.g., Copilot). Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Oral and written mastery of French and English*. Good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate frequently in English, orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients, or other stakeholders, both in Quebec and internationally.
