Reporting to the Manager, Finance, the Senior Analyst will be primarily responsible for financial planning and forecasting at Trans-Canada Capital. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen sense of priorities. Rigor and the ability to work under pressure will be important aptitudes.

The incumbent will be based in downtown Montreal. 4 days a week working from our offices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial planning and forecasting.
- Manage the annual budgeting process in collaboration with Management and various business units.
- Produce and analyze monthly and quarterly budget analysis reports and raise any financial issues to Management.
- Present detailed monthly financial reports to department heads.
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
- Manage the procurement process in collaboration with business units, including vendor selection.
- Ensure the management and monitoring of all active contract renewals with business units and, in some cases, participate in vendor negotiations.
- Develop, lead, and improve processes to ensure effective data analysis.
- Ensure that the level of service offered remains high at all times in terms of turnaround time, accuracy, and user-friendliness.
- Participate in special projects and perform any other related tasks assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration and a professional accounting designation (CPA).
- 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Excellent mastery of the Microsoft 365 suite (Excel).
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI data visualization tool (an asset).
- Knowledge of SAP and Ariba (an asset).
- Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English is essential. This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to provide daily support to clients and employees located outside Quebec or who require services in a language other than French.
