Summary of the role

The Operations Quality Analyst is responsible for analyzing non-conformities in the plant—human, technical and supplier-related—to provide clear visibility and enable operations to implement targeted corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish quality review meetings with operations
  • Organize inspections of A220 and G7500 production lines, develop and update a robust control plan, and work with operations quality teams to implement it
  • Track progress of corrective actions on non-conforming products via non-quality convergence plans
  • Ensure visibility of ongoing actions (PowerPoint presentations)
  • Maintain effective communication with the customer for management of exported non-quality issues
  • Analyze and address customer complaints regarding assembly anomalies identified at the customer site
  • Investigate responsibility for the reported anomalies
  • Support Airbus/Bombardier customers during technical analyses related to non-quality or improvement activities
  • Lead convergence plans (customer returns, deviations, DL, etc.)
  • Participate in quality initiatives such as implementing the Quality Box, line-side workshops, and AQP/AQL approaches
  • Adhere to the processes of the quality management system
  • Collaborate with partners and customers to achieve objectives

Requirements

  • Technical DEC or relevant experience in aerospace quality
  • At least 5 years of relevant technical experience
  • Familiarity with problem-solving quality methods
  • Knowledge of manufacturing methods for parts used in assembly of aerostructures
  • Familiarity with assembly methods used in the aerospace sector
  • French/English bilingualism
  • Project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an asset
  • Familiarity with the EN/AS9100 standard
  • Strong problem-solving ability (5 Why, PPSMax, 8D...)
