Job description

The Quality Assurance Analyst takes charge of handling quality issues, whether internal or in the quality assurance department. They work in collaboration with key stakeholders: engineering, methods, control, and purchasing.

• Take charge of tracking non-conformities and Corrective Action Requests (CARs);
• Investigate and analyze non-conformities issued internally (plant) and externally (suppliers);
• Ensure compliance with the "5 Whys" process for non-conformities;
• Issue CARs and ensure follow-up on action plans;
• Distribute the "CAR" and "5W" activity report on a monthly basis;
• Take charge of supplier quality evaluation;
• Take charge of the analysis and dissemination of changes to customer specifications;
• Take charge of the stamp activity;
• Control archives;
• Participate in processing actions issued following customer quality audits;
• Perform tasks in accordance with the company's vision, doctrine, and code of ethics;
• Apply and comply with safety rules at all times;
• Apply and comply with the rules of our policy and quality system;

Authority (decision-making power)

• Distribution of Quality System documents;
• Trigger corrective and preventive actions within the framework of the IMS;
• Stop production if a risk of non-conformity is detected. The final decision will be made by the site quality director;
• Suspend an operator qualification;
• Duty to alert and escalate to the Site Quality Director in the event of a safety problem (product or human);

Your profile:

• College diploma in aeronautics, mechanical engineering, or a related field;
• Experience in quality assurance or in an aeronautical manufacturing environment;
• Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 quality standards would be an asset;
• Fluency in French and English, both oral and written;
• Mastery of Microsoft Office suite software;
• Demonstrates knowledge in machining and assembly techniques;
• Leadership in leading multi-trade teams;
• Be factual, precise, concise, and rigorous in report preparation;
• Ability to follow multiple subjects in parallel;
• Curious, interpersonal skills, meticulous, versatile;
• Ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
