Job description
The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for handling quality issues, whether internal or within the quality assurance department. They work in collaboration with key stakeholders: engineering, methods, inspection, and purchasing.
- Manage the follow-up of non-conformities and Corrective Action Requests (DAC).
- Investigate and analyze non-conformities issued internally (plant) and externally (suppliers).
- Ensure compliance with the "5 Whys" process for non-conformities.
- Issue DACs and ensure follow-up on action plans.
- Distribute the "DAC" and "5P" activity report on a monthly basis.
- Handle supplier quality evaluations.
- Manage analysis and dissemination of changes to customer specifications.
- Oversee stamping activities.
- Control archives.
- Participate in handling actions resulting from customer quality audits.
- Perform tasks in accordance with the company's vision, doctrine and code of ethics.
- Apply and comply with safety rules at all times.
- Apply and comply with the rules of our policy and quality system.
Authority (decision-making power)
- Distribution of Quality System documents.
- Trigger corrective and preventive actions within the Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Stop production if a risk of non-conformity is detected. The final decision will be made by the site's Quality Director.
- Suspend an operator qualification.
- Duty to alert and escalate to the site's Quality Director in case of a safety issue (product or person).
Your profile
- College diploma in aeronautics, mechanics or a related field.
- Experience in quality assurance or in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Experience with quality standards ISO 9001 or AS9100 is an asset.
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of machining and assembly techniques.
- Leadership in facilitating multi-disciplinary teams.
- Be factual, precise, concise and rigorous in report preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple topics in parallel.
- Curious, outgoing, meticulous, versatile.
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
