Job description
The Quality Assurance Analyst handles quality issues, whether internal or within the quality assurance department. They work in collaboration with key stakeholders: engineering, methods, control, and purchasing.
- Take charge of tracking non-conformities and Corrective Action Requests (CARs);
- Investigate and analyze non-conformities issued internally (factory) and externally (suppliers);
- Ensure compliance with the "5 Whys" process for non-conformities;
- Issue CARs and track action plans;
- Distribute the "CAR" and "5W" activity report on a monthly basis;
- Take charge of supplier quality evaluation;
- Take charge of the analysis and dissemination of customer specification updates;
- Take charge of stamp activities;
- Control archives;
- Participate in processing actions issued following customer quality audits;
- Conduct tasks in accordance with the company's vision, doctrine, and code of ethics;
- Apply and comply with safety rules at all times;
- Apply and comply with the rules of our policy and quality system;
Authority (decision-making power)
- Distribution of Quality System documents;
- Triggers corrective and preventive actions within the framework of the IMS;
- Stop production if a non-conformity risk is detected. The final decision will be made by the site quality director;
- Suspend an operator qualification;
- Duty of alert and escalation to the Site Quality Director in case of a safety issue (product or human);
Your profile:
- College diploma in aeronautics, mechanical engineering, or a related field;
- Experience in quality assurance or in an aeronautical manufacturing environment;
- Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 quality standards would be an asset;
- Fluency in French and English, both oral and written;
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite software;
- Demonstrates knowledge in machining and assembly techniques;
- Leadership in facilitating multi-trade teams;
- Be factual, precise, concise, and rigorous in report preparation;
- Ability to follow multiple topics in parallel;
- Curious, interpersonal skills, meticulous, versatile;
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
