The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is looking for a Quality Assurance Regulatory Analyst to join our ABQA team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will be in charge of regulatory compliance.
You will be part of the A220 Quality Assurance department and responsible for ensuring that the company's operational processes (development, execution, support, and procurement) comply with quality assurance requirements, standards, and internal or third-party certifications/approvals as defined in the Quality Management System (QMS).
When deviations occur, the analyst will be involved in handling non-conformities, including gap analysis, monitoring corrective and preventive actions, and contributing to the improvement of quality standards. Quality Assurance is seeking a candidate with strong experience in the aeronautical industry and in regulatory management (DOA, POA, MOA, etc.). The primary activities of this role are tied to regulatory files.

Your challenges:
- Document and manage Production Organisation Approval (POA) requirements as well as its operational manuals, directives, and processes;
- Conduct "Go & See" visits to operational sites and interview stakeholders to analyze and understand the situation;
- Perform regulatory investigations and act as an advisor:
- Support internal functions on any regulatory questions or issues;
- Analyze, document, and assess risks and impacts related to POA compliance;
- Ensure all advice and decisions are grounded in regulations and business requirements;
- Ensure results and action plans are developed, communicated, executed, and archived;
- Submit requests to Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) (when required);
- Lead and manage external authority oversight and non-conformities:
- Coordinate surveillance activities;
- Support affected functions to ensure root causes and sustainable solutions are identified and applied;
- Communicate and follow up on the progress of corrective action plans across all management levels;
- Perform the annual regulatory review;
- Support company certifications and interfaces with external authorities (TCCA, EASA, etc.) (when authorized);
- Demonstrate process and requirement compliance for a given area to the Quality Assurance program and external authorities (when authorized);
- Work with cross-functional teams across the organization and in different time zones.
Your profile:
- You have over 5 years of experience in the aeronautical industry within a quality-related function;
- You have strong knowledge of Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) regulations;
- You have experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS);
- You have knowledge of AS9100 standard requirements (an asset);
- You have knowledge of the manufacturing manual (an asset);
- You have experience in problem-solving methodologies and tools;
- You demonstrate strong rational and critical thinking skills (formal or informal);
- You are autonomous;
- You are a strong team player;
- You are flexible and highly adaptable;
- You demonstrate strong decision-making skills;
- You know how to influence and mobilize others;
- You are skilled at communicating at all levels of the organization and across functions;
- You are bilingual (French and English) written and spoken.
