The person chosen for the position of Digital Solutions Analyst will be responsible for supporting the execution, optimization and performance measurement of all digital media campaigns for Air Canada and Aeroplan. As indicated in the document, the person holding this position "contributes to the execution and monitoring of the performance of all digital media campaigns for Air Canada and Aeroplan". The successful candidate will work closely with Digital Solutions Managers, internal product owners and external partners to ensure campaign launches are seamlessly executed and business objectives are met. The analyst conducts in-depth evaluations of digital media performance and transforms data into actionable insights that serve as the basis for optimizations and future digital media strategies. This position is essential to ensuring that Air Canada's digital investments have a measurable business impact.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation of digital solutions:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of digital solution plans by working directly on media buying platforms (e.g., Google Ads, DV360, Meta Ads Manager).
- Assist Digital Solutions Managers in transforming marketing briefs into tactical media plans, ensuring they align with brand goals and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with internal product owners to determine campaign requirements, validate targeting parameters, and ensure everything is ready for launch.
Collaboration between agencies and publishers:
- Collaborate with key media and creative agencies to ensure campaign strategies align with overarching media objectives and brand direction.
- Work closely with key publishers, such as Google and Meta, to support negotiations, campaign implementation, and campaign activation.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners by providing timely updates, clarifying expected results, and ensuring alignment on campaign goals.
Campaign management and execution:
- Assume day-to-day responsibility for multiple simultaneous campaigns, ensuring deadlines are met and campaigns are launched on time.
- Coordinate the delivery of advertising materials with the Media Advertising team and ensure all elements are properly uploaded and approved by Quality Assurance.
- Troubleshoot campaign issues (tracking, pacing, delivery) and escalate to partners as needed.
- Monitor daily campaign performance to ensure key performance indicators are met, and identify optimization opportunities through data-driven analysis.
- Perform in-depth analyses to evaluate channel effectiveness, audience performance, and the impact of creative content.
- Formulate recommendations likely to influence future media strategies and budget allocation.
- Contribute to quality assurance and the production of weekly and monthly reports, ensuring data accuracy and clarity of analysis.
- Participate in post-campaign analyses, summarizing results against objectives and identifying areas for improvement for future campaigns.
- Present findings to internal stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.
Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in the media field with a focus on implementing digital solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Excellent understanding of advertising, marketing, and media principles.
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Google Ads, DV360, Meta Campaign Manager, TikTok, Twitter, etc.
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability to foster the team's overall success in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly learn how to use new technologies and tools.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Interest in travel and the airline industry.
