Job Description
In collaboration with the business systems team manager, the incumbent supports internal teams to optimize the use of “core business” systems and ensure data integrity throughout the processing chain.
Responsibilities
- Implement monitoring measures (volumetry, performance, success rate, and rejections) and analyze operational data.
- Detect and document anomalies throughout the commercial activity processing chain.
- Evaluate the causes of anomalies, propose solutions, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and automation.
- Act as a liaison between IT teams and users to validate the operational functionality of delivered solutions.
- Collaborate in implementing changes, support integration with teams, and assist business systems experts.
- Participate in writing or updating procedures, transfer knowledge to trainers, and support users.
- Develop test plans and supervise UAT testing activities with key individuals.
Qualifications
- Hold a college diploma in tourism.
- Possess at least 3 years of experience in the leisure travel industry or in a call center.
- Excellent analytical skills, strong organizational sense, rigor, and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of a tour operator's and airline's business model.
- Knowledge of Transat's IT ecosystem, particularly Datalex, Radixx, TTS, and Salesforce systems.
- Excellent communication skills, active listening, patience, and team spirit.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and comfort with collaborative technologies and AI.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Fluency in oral and written French and English*
- A good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will frequently communicate in English, orally and in writing, with colleagues or partners located in Canada and internationally.
