Job Description
In this role, the person will contribute to the implementation of pricing policy in the markets assigned to them. Their priority objective is to maximize unit revenue per available seat mile (RASM).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Air Transat's price attractiveness by constantly listening to competitive developments: Pricing surveillance carried out by extracting and manipulating large amounts of data as well as through market feedback;
- Understand and analyze the dynamics of the market assigned to them;
- Maintain the consistency of pricing actions with the state of seat allocations made available and the analysis of performance indicators. This action is also carried out through close collaboration with Revenue Management analysts in charge of sizing seat allocations;
- Participate in defining the conditions and pricing levels offered, based on distribution channels. This action is carried out by analyzing in particular: customer segmentation, revenue objectives defined by the company, overall route performance and the competitive situation;
- Although responsible for a clearly defined geographical portfolio, the pricing analyst works to a significant extent in a team (working in pairs, daily exchange of best practices, etc.): the development, monitoring and good communication of pricing strategies towards management and teammates is necessary;
- Monitor and ensure factual follow-up of the performance of established strategies and promotional pricing offers;
- Learn and use pricing tools and systems to their full capacity;
- Propose improvements to internal processes and performance monitoring reports.
Qualifications
- College diploma in a relevant field, an asset;
- 1 to 3 years in the Pricing sector or strong experience in Revenue Management / Network Planning;
- Bilingualism (French and English - written and spoken);*
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools, Excel in particular;
- Analytical skills, synthesis and problem-solving skills;
- Knowledge of GDS, ATPCO Airfare Insight, Infare, SRS Analyser, DDS;
- Autonomy;
- Rigorousness and attention to detail;
- Stress resistance;
- Interpersonal skills and dynamism.
*A good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will need to communicate frequently in English, orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients or other stakeholders, both in Quebec and internationally.
