Job Summary

• The Test and Validation Analyst participates in innovative solutions integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning and intelligent agents, at the core of evolving technology products.
• The analyst participates in validation and quality assurance of applications, platforms and IT systems, ensuring correct functioning, performance and reliability.
• The analyst will be involved in the design, execution and automation of tests throughout the software development lifecycle.
• The role includes participating in building, verifying and validating the compliance of software and hardware components against system specifications.
• Participate in testing of applications and services deployed on various platforms—mobile, cloud—and be comfortable working in containerized environments.
• Familiarity with deployment technologies and platforms such as Linux, Windows, Android and Kubernetes is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and prepare the test strategy.
• Define test plans based on technical specifications.
• Code and debug software components in languages such as Python, Golang, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.
• Any other technical knowledge, language or platform is an asset.
• Prepare unit tests for software components.
• Develop and execute integration and functional tests.
• Automate test execution on CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform configuration management of software elements.
• Identify, document and track defects found in software and systems.

Minimum Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• College diploma in computer science or a first university degree in science, engineering, computer science or software engineering.
• Strong expertise in testing, scripting and automation for presentation/front-end functions.
• Strong expertise in testing, scripting and automation for back-end services.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn and diversify are essential.
• Teamwork skills and the ability to foster collective intelligence.

Desired Qualifications

• Good command of spoken and written French; English is an asset but not required.
• Technical versatility and adaptability in constantly evolving contexts and domains.
• Experience with Agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban) is an asset.

This position requires a good command of English for writing technical documents, interacting with, supporting and/or providing services to international clients, employees and/or partners and to foreign government authorities who do not speak French.

Position-specific Requirements

Work schedule: Regular office hours, Monday to Friday.

Physical environment: Primarily office-based work on company premises.

Travel: Occasional, for field tests, attending conferences and/or meetings with colleagues in other regions of the world as required by projects.

This position requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List, the Canadian Controlled Goods Program, the Canadian Industrial Security Program, the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
