Test and Validation Analyst

Job Summary
• The test and validation analyst participates in innovative solutions integrating artificial intelligence, Machine Learning and intelligent agents, at the heart of evolving technological products.
• The test and validation analyst participates in the validation and quality of applications, platforms and computer systems by ensuring their proper functioning, performance and reliability;
• The test and validation analyst will have to intervene in the design, execution and automation of tests throughout the software development life cycle;
• The test and validation analyst will have the mission of participating in the construction, verification and validation of the compliance of software and hardware components with system specifications;
• The test and validation analyst will have to participate in application and service tests deployed on various platforms; Mobile, Cloud and be comfortable working in containerized environments;
• The test and validation analyst must be familiar with different technologies and deployment platforms such as Linux, Windows, Android and Kubernetes.
Essential Functions
• Organization and preparation of the test strategy;
• Definition of test plans according to technical specifications;
• Coding and troubleshooting of software components in various languages such as Python, Golang, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript. etc.
- Any other technical knowledge, language or platform is an asset;
• Preparation of unit tests on software elements;
• Development and execution of integration tests and functional tests;
• Automation of test execution on CI-CD pipelines;
• Configuration management of software elements;
• Identification, documentation and tracking of anomalies detected in software and systems.
Minimum Requirements
• From 3 to 5 years of experience.
• College diploma in computer science or undergraduate university degree in science, engineering, computer science or software engineering;
• Good level of expertise in testing, scripting and automation on front end functions;
• Good level of expertise in testing, scripting and automation on back end services;
• Having intellectual curiosity, the taste to learn and diversify is essential;
• Having aptitudes for teamwork and favoring collective intelligence.
Desirable Qualification
• Good mastery of spoken and written French; mastery of English is an asset but not a requirement;
• Having technical versatility and adaptability in constantly evolving contexts and fields;
• Having experience with Agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban) is an asset.
This position requires a good knowledge of English for writing technical documents, to interact, support and/or provide services to international clients, employees and/or partners as well as to foreign government authorities who do not speak French.
Special Job Requirements
Working schedule: Regular working schedule during office hours Monday to Friday
Physical environment: Mainly office work in company premises.
Travel: occasional, for field testing, participating in conferences and/or meetings with colleagues from other regions of the world (for example in Europe) according to specific project requirements.
