SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop your skills as an apprentice with support from other experienced AMEs;
• Ensure that all aircraft documentation is duly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
• Carry out the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Control Manual and ensure familiarity and compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Comply with the SMS (Safety Management System) policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist with any other related tasks as assigned by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Working toward becoming a licensed technician;
• Previous experience in a related apprentice role is an asset;
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Detail-oriented;
• Positive attitude;
• Good team spirit;
• Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• Be in the process of completing a recognized aircraft maintenance technician program, or equivalent, which is required.
