SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop your skills as an apprentice with support from other experienced AMEs;
- Ensure that all aircraft documentation is duly completed;
- Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
- Carry out the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Control Manual and ensure familiarity and compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
- Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
- Comply with the SMS (Safety Management System) policy;
- Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
- Assist with any other related tasks as assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Working toward becoming a licensed technician;
- Previous experience in a related apprentice role is an asset;
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Detail-oriented;
- Positive attitude;
- Good team spirit;
- Good communication skills.
EDUCATION:
- Be in the process of completing a recognized aircraft maintenance technician program, or equivalent, which is required.
