Summary of responsibilities:

• Develop your skills as an apprentice with the support of experienced AMEs;
• Ensure that all aircraft documents are duly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on aircraft is certified;
• Carry out the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Service Control Manual and ensure familiarity with and compliance to Transport Canada standard regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Comply with the SMS policy (Safety Management System);
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist with other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and required skills:

• Working towards becoming a licensed technician;
• Previous experience in a related apprentice role is an asset;
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Detail-oriented;
• Positive attitude;
• Good team spirit;
• Good communication skills.

Education:

• Be in the process of completing a recognized Aircraft Maintenance Technician program, or equivalent, is required.
