Summary of responsibilities:
- Develop your skills as an apprentice with the support of experienced AMEs;
- Ensure that all aircraft documents are duly completed;
- Ensure that each component installed on aircraft is certified;
- Carry out the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Service Control Manual and ensure familiarity with and compliance to Transport Canada standard regulations;
- Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
- Comply with the SMS policy (Safety Management System);
- Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
- Assist with other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and required skills:
- Working towards becoming a licensed technician;
- Previous experience in a related apprentice role is an asset;
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Detail-oriented;
- Positive attitude;
- Good team spirit;
- Good communication skills.
Education:
- Be in the process of completing a recognized Aircraft Maintenance Technician program, or equivalent, is required.
