SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop your skills as an apprentice, with the support of other experienced AMEs;
• Ensure all aircraft documentation is properly completed;
• Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
• Carry out tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Service Control Manual and ensure familiarization with and compliance with standard Transport Canada regulations;
• Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
• Adhere to the SMS (Safety Management System) policy;
• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
• Assist with all other related tasks as assigned by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Working towards becoming a licensed technician;
• Previous experience in a related apprentice position is an asset;
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
• Detail-oriented;
• Positive attitude;
• Good team spirit;
• Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:

• Currently completing a recognized aircraft maintenance technician program, or equivalent, is required.
