SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop your skills as an apprentice, with the support of other experienced AMEs;
- Ensure that all aircraft documentation is properly completed;
- Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
- Perform the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Control Service Manual and ensure familiarity and compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
- Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
- Respect the SMS policy ("Safety Management System");
- Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
- Assist in any other related tasks as assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Working toward becoming a licensed technician;
- Previous experience in a related position as an apprentice is an asset;
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Detail-oriented;
- Have a positive attitude;
- Good team spirit;
- Good communication skills.
EDUCATION:
- Being in the process of completing a recognized program in aircraft maintenance technology, or the equivalent is a requirement.
