SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop your skills as an apprentice with the support of experienced AMEs;
  • Ensure all aircraft documents are duly completed;
  • Ensure each component installed on aircraft is certified;
  • Perform tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Service Control Manual and ensure familiarity and compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
  • Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
  • Adhere to the SMS (Safety Management System) policy;
  • Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
  • Assist with other related tasks as assigned by management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Working towards becoming a licensed technician;
  • Previous experience in a related apprentice position is an asset;
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Detail-oriented;
  • Positive attitude;
  • Good team spirit;
  • Good communication skills.

EDUCATION:

  • In the process of completing a recognized aircraft maintenance technician program or equivalent is required.
