Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Architect to lead the design, integration, and scaling of AI solutions across the organization. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on expertise to ensure AI initiatives are technically sound, responsibly governed, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee the design and integration of AI solutions in the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Serve as a key coordination point between enterprise architects, solution architects, business, platform & data teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, scalability expectations, and long-term business value.
  • Recommend and validate architectural choices and accelerate adoption of internal and external technological solutions.
  • Guide and support teams in designing and deploying AI/ML architectures while strengthening internal capabilities and best practices.
  • Contribute to formalizing and scaling AI governance and ethical standards to ensure responsible, transparent, and compliant AI usage.
  • Maintain continuous awareness of emerging AI technologies and advise leadership on relevant trends, risks, and opportunities.

What do you need to be successful?

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Data Science.
  • 8+ years of experience in software architecture, AI/ML architecture, or advanced ML solution design.
  • Strong strategic mindset with demonstrated technical leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven experience designing and integrating AI solutions in complex or regulated environments.
  • Solid understanding of AI architecture patterns, including traditional ML, Large Language Models (LLMs) and RAG approaches, agentic AI, embeddings and indexing strategies, and model deployment patterns.
  • Practical knowledge of cloud AI ecosystems, particularly AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and ML lifecycle governance.
  • Strong understanding of data, software, and AI security and governance principles.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and global environments.
  • Ability to assess emerging AI technologies considering performance, scalability, and risk.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand documentation and technical terms on a daily basis and to communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
