We have several open positions for aeronautical structures assemblers to join our teams in Mirabel.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for structural installation, assembly, and sub-assemblies of aircraft systems, parts, and components within a project and/or assigned area.
  • Use technical data and instructions provided by the customer or aircraft manufacturer.
  • Use jigs and position components based on PVA, engineering department drawings, or any other material provided by the methods department.
  • Read and interpret blueprints or manufacturing files.
  • Adapt work to different types of assemblies: large / small components.
  • Set up and operate manual or automated machines and tools according to the work to be performed.
  • Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to technical specifications provided by the customer:
  • Install necessary fasteners; drill holes; ensure correct products are used for assembly (bolts, hardened or mechanical rivets, screws or accessories to fix, support, or suspend components and sub-assemblies).
  • Ensure correct products are used for assembly (sealants, bonding, corrosion, paint).
  • Ensure compliance of assemblies with the manufacturing file.
  • Inspect and verify installed units, parts, and equipment to ensure suitability, performance, and compliance with standards defined in technical documentation.
  • Comply with quality standards and production rates.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Report any anomaly or irregularity.
  • Any other related task.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Two years of experience as a structures assembler in the aeronautical sector.
  • You possess at least a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
  • You have excellent blueprint reading skills.
  • You demonstrate dexterity.
  • You have a quick mind and a developed attention to detail.
  • Mastery of spoken and written French, English is an asset.
