Responsibilities

• Responsible for structural installation, assembly and sub-assemblies of aircraft systems, parts and components within a project and/or assignment area.
• Use technical data and instructions provided by the customer or aircraft manufacturer.
• Use jigs and position components from PVAs, engineering department drawings or any other material provided by the methods department.
• Read and interpret plans or manufacturing files.
• Adapt work to different types of assembly: large / small components.
• Adjust and use manual or automated machines and tools depending on the work to be performed.
• Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to technical specifications provided by the customer:
• Install necessary fasteners; drill holes; ensure the correct products are used for assembly (bolts, hardened or mechanical rivets, screws or accessories to fix, support or suspend components and sub-assemblies).
• Ensure the use of correct products for assembly (sealants, bonding, corrosion, paint).
• Ensure compliance of assemblies with the manufacturing file.
• Inspect and verify installed units, parts and equipment to ensure their suitability, performance and compliance with standards defined in technical documentation.
• Respect quality standards and production rates.
• Respect health, safety and environmental standards.
• Report any anomaly or irregularity.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Structure Assembler in the aeronautical field.
• You have at least a DEP in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
• You have excellent knowledge of reading plans.
• You demonstrate dexterity.
• You have a quick wit and a developed attention to detail.
• Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
