Responsibilities

• Responsible for structural installation, assembly, and system sub-assemblies, aircraft parts, and components within a project and/or assignment area.
• Use technical data and instructions provided by the client or aircraft manufacturer.
• Use jigs and position components from PVA, engineering department drawings, or any other material provided by the methods department.
• Read and interpret plans or manufacturing files.
• Adapt work to different types of assembly: large/small components.
• Adjust and use manual or automated machines and tools according to the work to be performed.
• Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to technical specifications provided by the client:
• Install necessary fasteners; drill holes; ensure the correct products are used for assembly (bolts, hardened or mechanical rivets, screws, or accessories to attach, support, or suspend components and sub-assemblies).
• Ensure the use of correct products for assembly (sealants, bonding, corrosion, paint).
• Ensure assemblies comply with the manufacturing file.
• Inspect and verify installed units, parts, and equipment to ensure their suitability, performance, and compliance with standards defined in the technical documentation.
• Comply with quality standards and production rates.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Report any anomalies or irregularities.

Skills and qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Structure Assembler in the aeronautical field.
• You hold at least a DEP in aeronautical structure assembly or equivalent.
• You have excellent knowledge in reading plans.
• You demonstrate dexterity.
• You have a quick mind and a developed attention to detail.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French.
