Aeronautical program - Montreal / Mirabel (Quebec, Canada)

We are looking for an Electrical Assembler to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). You will work in collaboration with the production, methods, quality, and engineering teams to ensure the compliant assembly and installation of the aircraft's electrical systems.

Your role

As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and verification of electrical components and systems according to drawings, work instructions, and applicable quality standards.

Your main responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Perform the assembly of electrical harnesses and sub-assemblies.
  • Install cables, connectors, fasteners, supports, and electrical components in the aircraft.
  • Carry out cutting, stripping, crimping, splicing, and connection operations.
  • Ensure proper routing and securing of electrical harnesses.
  • Perform visual and functional checks of the installations.
  • Use required manual, pneumatic tools and specialized equipment.
  • Identify and report defects, anomalies, or non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with quality and methods teams to solve technical problems.
  • Complete production documentation and ensure traceability of work performed.
  • Respect health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Your profile

  • DEP, DEC, or professional training in cable and circuit assembly, electromechanics, electricity, avionics, or a related field.
  • Experience in electrical assembly, industrial cabling, or electrical systems installation.
  • Ability to read drawings, diagrams, and technical instructions.
  • Knowledge of crimping, splicing, and connection techniques.
  • Good manual dexterity and high precision in task execution.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and in various positions.
  • Good command of French; English is an asset.
  • Rigour, autonomy, attention to detail, and team spirit.

Assets

  • Experience in the aeronautical sector.
  • Experience on Airbus, Bombardier, or Boeing programs.
  • Knowledge of aeronautical cabling standards.
  • Certification in crimping, brazing, or electrical assembly.
  • Knowledge of aeronautical production documentation.
  • Experience with SAP, Solumina, or an MES/ERP system.
