Our Airbus Atlantique site based in Mirabel is looking for its future: Aircraft Assembly Adjuster.

Job Summary

As an electrical assembler, you are responsible for carrying out assembly operations with the utmost rigor and quality according to the standards and procedures of Airbus Atlantique and the customer Bombardier.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all operations in accordance with current health and safety rules;
  • Read, interpret, and analyze electrical and mechanical plans and diagrams from assembly manuals;
  • Execute the installation, assembly, and fixing of harnesses and electrical components on various supports (fasteners, structure, clamps, etc.) following technical documentation and mechanical drawings;
  • Ensure the quality control of manufactured sub-assemblies and electrical harnesses;
  • Participate during First Article Inspections (FAI) in the analysis of the aircraft installation documentation with the Quality, Methods, and Production departments;
  • Ensure compliance with production standards and rates;
  • Verify work compliance based on standard and specific procedures defined in the technical work documentation;
  • Record measurements and characteristics (trials, tests);
  • Report any non-compliance according to company standards and any modifications to be made to engineering drawings;
  • Know and apply the rules, procedures, and processes of your operations and know where to find them;
  • Carry out all operations in accordance with current health and safety rules.

PROFILE SOUGHT

Academic training: hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in cable and circuit assembly. Any relevant combination of training and experience could be considered.

Experience: 3 years of experience as an electrical assembler in the aeronautics field. Experience in systems assembly is an asset.

Special Requirements:

  • You are perfectly capable of reading technical plans and ideally have knowledge of Bombardier procedures.
  • Your manual dexterity is a real asset which, combined with your level of technical knowledge, allows you to perform the requested operations and communicate easily with team leaders, methods agents, and engineers.

Aptitudes:

  • Passionate about aeronautics, you have a highly developed sense of rigor and work well done to meet aeronautical requirements.
  • You are recognized for your ability to work both in a team and autonomously. As such, you demonstrate proactivity daily.
  • You like varied and diversified work, and your optimistic nature allows you to take changes in work with enthusiasm.
  • Your taste for sharing your knowledge and experience in a constructive spirit allows you to be recognized and appreciated by your colleagues.
  • You know how to listen and apply the instructions given and take remarks constructively to develop your skills.
  • Master the reading of plans and specifications;
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and special processes commonly used in aeronautics (heat treatments, Non-Destructive Testing, surface conditioning, surface treatments);
  • Master the Office Suite;
  • French/English bilingualism (functional English to exchange with English-speaking subcontractors);
  • Master the use of conventional measuring tools;
  • Knowledge of SAP, Net-Inspect, PLM, BASL, EMCM is an asset;
  • Knowledge of Catia or any other 3D design software is an asset.
