We support our client, a major player in the Canadian manufacturing industry, in their search for a Mechanical Assembler to contribute to the assembly, adjustment, and installation of mechanical components in a production environment.

Role and responsibilities

  • Inventory components before starting assembly operations.
  • Assemble, adjust, and install mechanical parts and components in accordance with plans and manufacturing procedures.
  • Carry out the adjustment, alignment, setting, and fine-tuning operations necessary for assembly.
  • Read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Verify the conformity of assemblies according to established quality standards.
  • Comply with current health, safety, quality, and production standards.
  • Identify and report any anomaly likely to affect production.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Perform any other related tasks as needed for operations.

Desired profile

  • You have experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or in a manufacturing environment.
  • You are able to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
  • You have good manual dexterity and excellent precision.
  • You demonstrate attention to detail and quality.
  • You are able to work in a dynamic production environment.
  • You have good physical abilities.
  • You are autonomous, organized, and have an excellent team spirit.
  • You rigorously comply with health and safety standards at work.
  • Proficiency in French is mandatory.
