Mechanical Assembler

Location: Valcourt (QC).

Shift: Day or evening

We are supporting our client, a major player in the Canadian manufacturing industry, in their search for a Mechanical Assembler to contribute to the assembly, adjustment, and installation of mechanical components in a production environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform inventory of components before starting assembly operations.
• Assemble, adjust, and install mechanical parts and components in accordance with plans and manufacturing procedures.
• Carry out the adjustment, alignment, tuning, and debugging operations necessary for assembly.
• Read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Verify assembly compliance according to established quality standards.
• Comply with health, safety, quality, and production standards in effect.
• Identify and report any anomaly likely to affect production.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure compliance with schedules.
• Perform any other related task according to operational needs.

Profile Sought

• You have experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or in a manufacturing environment.
• You are able to read and interpret technical plans and drawings.
• You possess good manual dexterity as well as excellent precision.
• You demonstrate attention to detail and quality.
• You are capable of working in a dynamic production environment.
• You possess good physical aptitudes.
• You show autonomy, organization, and an excellent team spirit.
• You strictly adhere to occupational health and safety standards.
• Proficiency in French is mandatory.
