We are supporting our client, a major player in the Canadian manufacturing industry, in their search for a Mechanical Assembler to contribute to the assembly, adjustment, and installation of mechanical components in a production environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Perform inventory of components before starting assembly operations.
- Assemble, adjust, and install mechanical parts and components in accordance with plans and manufacturing procedures.
- Carry out adjustment, alignment, tuning, and fine-tuning operations necessary for assembly.
- Read and interpret plans, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Verify the compliance of assemblies according to established quality standards.
- Comply with current health, safety, quality, and production standards.
- Identify and report any anomalies likely to affect production.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure compliance with schedules.
- Perform any other related task as required by operations.
Profile Sought
- You have experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or in a manufacturing environment.
- You are able to read and interpret technical plans and drawings.
- You possess good manual dexterity as well as excellent precision.
- You demonstrate attention to detail and quality.
- You are able to work in a dynamic production environment.
- You possess good physical abilities.
- You demonstrate autonomy, organization, and an excellent team spirit.
- You strictly comply with occupational health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in French is mandatory.
