As part of our activities in Canada, AAA Canada is looking for an experienced Aeronautical Structures Assembler to support a major player in the Canadian aerospace industry in Mirabel, Quebec.
Under the supervision of the team lead, you will carry out various assembly operations, including the mounting, fitting, and installation of prefabricated modules and sub-assemblies intended for aircraft production. You will work independently or in a team using technical documentation, while ensuring the quality and compliance of the work performed.

Responsibilities
- Perform structural installation, assembly, and sub-assembly of aircraft systems, parts, and components as part of a project or assigned area.
- Use technical data and instructions provided by the customer or aircraft manufacturer.
- Use jigs and position components based on PVAs, engineering drawings, or any other documentation provided by the methods department.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing records.
- Adapt your work to various types of assemblies, including small and large components.
- Set up and operate manual or automated machines and tools according to the work to be performed.
- Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to the technical specifications provided by the customer.
- Install necessary fasteners, perform hole drilling, and ensure the use of correct assembly elements, including bolts, rivets, mechanical fasteners, screws, and accessories.
- Ensure the use of appropriate products for assembly, including sealants, adhesives, anti-corrosion products, and paints.
- Verify the compliance of assemblies against the manufacturing record.
- Inspect and check installed units, parts, and equipment to ensure their suitability, performance, and compliance with technical documentation.
- Comply with quality standards and established production rates.
- Comply with standards regarding health, safety, and environment.
- Report any anomaly, defect, or irregularity.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Structure Assembler in the aerospace field.
- Hold at least a DEP in aircraft structural assembly or equivalent training.
- Excellent knowledge in reading and interpreting technical blueprints.
- Good knowledge of aeronautical structure assembly techniques.
- Excellent manual dexterity, meticulousness, and precision.
- Ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
- Ability to adapt to different types of assembly operations and production requirements.
- Fluency in French, both oral and written.
